October 12, 2007 (Day 1)

So our journey has officially started. We got on the ferry and I said bye to my family. On the ferry Jacqueline introduced Shelby and I took the Food Chain Game, which by the way is an incredibly awesome game. The ferry ride was kind of boring; we worked on our blog headlines and just hung out. When we finally got to Juneau, Forest and Alex drove us to their house. Forest stayed up with us for a little while and started to plan the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and he said that his fraternity would help us host it. Then we went to bed. The next morning everything went fine and we got on the plane to Seattle.
